… and Pledges to Donate 1% of Time and Profit to the Community.

Balance announced that it has joined Pledge 1%, a global movement to create a new normal for companies of all sizes and stages to have a positive social impact through their business.

Balance is joining over 12,000 companies around the world who have committed to Pledge 1% of either their product, profit, equity, and/or staff time to a charity of their choosing. Balance is proud to announce its commitment to donate 1% of Time and Profit to different charity partners during the next years.

Having joined at the end of 2020 we were not able to organize ourselves at best but we still donated part of our profit to various charities we have known for years, such as the Cancer Research Association (AIRC) and the Sacco hospital in Milan and the municipality of Milan for its initiatives with schools, also affected by Covid-19.

For 2021 we will certainly continue to donate 1% of our profit but we will organize ourselves in a better way to make available even 1% of the time of our employees, who have been expressing this desire for years.

This partnership with Pledge 1% is a very stimulating opportunity because it allows us to have a real impact on our community, not only as a company, but also to be part of the collective impact of this movement.
